Amanda D'Onofrio, M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD

Clinical Director / Speech-Language Pathologist

As a licensed speech-language pathologist in New York, Amanda delivers exceptional therapy services tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Her clinical expertise enables her to work with children of all ages and provide comprehensive support to families navigating speech, language, and feeding disorders.

Amanda earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University and is dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in her field. She holds her Certificate in Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is certified as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD).

Amanda fosters a safe and nurturing environment where both children and their families feel heard, understood, and supported. Parents are invited to be active partners in their child's therapy journey, collaborating with her to establish goals, implement strategies, and support their child's progress. Her goal is to ensure that her clients receive the highest quality care and the best possible therapy outcomes.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, taking walks with her husband and their two dogs, exploring new restaurants as a self-proclaimed foodie, and creating new recipes in the kitchen— some of which she even infuses into her therapy sessions!

Nicole Connor, M.S. Ed

Director of Operations & Educational Support

Nicole is a dedicated educator passionate about mathematics and special education. She earned her bachelor's degree in mathematics from the College of Staten Island and continued her education with a master's in special education from Touro College. With eight years of experience as a certified Special Education teacher for grades 7-12, she has focused on teaching mathematics to students with diverse learning needs.

Nicole’s specialization lies in algebra instruction, and she has been trained in Algebra for All methodologies. Her teaching approach emphasizes the discovery method alongside procedural fluency, ensuring her students not only grasp mathematical concepts but also develop essential skills.

In her role as a special education math teacher, Nicole works with students of all abilities, with a primary focus on those with learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. Creating inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive is her top priority.

Outside of her professional life, Nicole enjoys traveling to new destinations, discovering captivating TV shows, and spending quality time with her loyal canine companion. Her dedication to education and passion for student success drives her to continually make a positive impact in the educational community.

Thalia Quinones

Front Desk Receptionist / Insurance Verification Specialist

Thalia is our friendly and welcoming front desk receptionist, known for her exceptional organizational skills and warm demeanor. Currently in graduate school pursuing her certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Thalia is deeply committed to understanding and supporting individuals with diverse needs. Her academic background in psychology and autism, combined with her hands-on experience, fuels her passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others.

At the front desk, Thalia ensures that every visitor feels valued and informed, providing a first impression that reflects the heart of our organization. Her ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining a cheerful attitude is truly commendable.

When she's not at work or hitting the books, Thalia cherishes her time with her fiancé and three children. As a family, they love exploring and enjoying a picnic in the park, aquariums and all zoos. Thalia believes that these moments create lasting memories and strengthen their bond. With a spirit of adventure and a genuine love for her family, she brings a unique perspective to her role, enriching our workplace culture.

Simona Vira, M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD

Speech-Language Pathologist

Simona is a passionate and committed speech-language pathologist who strives in creating fun and exciting new ways to target your childs’ individualized speech and language goals. 

Simona earned her Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Molloy College, along with her certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD). Simona holds her certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association where she keeps up to date with the latest research and resources, expanding her clinical skills and techniques.

Simona has experience in working with children from a variety of ages and populations (Early Intervention - High School) addressing receptive and expressive language skills, pragmatic language skills, articulation skills and feeding/oral motor skills. Simona’s greatest interest has been working with the ASD population incorporating augmentative and alternative means of communication (AAC) to aid in children's communication skills. 

Outside of work, Simona enjoys a healthy balanced lifestyle of fitness, traveling, and exploring new restaurants. She loves creating new and adventurous memories with her friends and family. Simona is devoted to providing your child with access to a speech-language rich environment with extensive opportunities for communicative growth. 

Carolyn Kline, M.A., CCC-SLP, TSSLD

Speech-Language Pathologist

Carolyn Kline holds a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from New York University and is ASHA certified (CCC) and licensed in New York State. With over 25 years of experience in pediatric care, she has worked across various settings, including home care, early intervention, private practice, and school-based environments. Carolyn is skilled in treating a wide range of articulation and language disorders.

Outside of her professional commitments, Carolyn values quiet downtime, often enjoying a good book or spending time with her husband and two sons. The family shares their home with two small dogs and enjoys traveling together, especially to Long Beach Island and Walt Disney World.

Jennifer Blake, M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD

Speech-Language Pathologist

Jen is a dedicated and highly skilled speech-language pathologist with extensive experience working with both children and adults. PROMPT trained and passionate about facilitating meaningful communication, Jen tailors her approach to each individual’s needs, helping them build confidence and achieve their goals.

With years of experience addressing a wide range of communication challenges, Jen is known for her patient and compassionate style. Whether working on articulation, fluency, voice, or language development, she employs evidence-based techniques that empower her clients to thrive in their personal, academic, and professional lives.

Jen believes that communication is the key to connection, and she’s committed to helping her clients unlock their full potential.
